Wildflower Corn Chamomile

This wildflower is very easy to grow, however rare to find in the wild. It’s ideal for naturalising and great for poor soils. Sown where it is to flower, this British summer meadow flower is elegant and very charming, with aromatic leaves and daisy-like blooms which are highly attractive to pollinators.

How to Sow and Grow

  • Sow outdoors: where they are to flower, 0.5cm(1/4in) deep, directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered.
  • Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days.
  • Thin seedlings to 10cm(4in) apart.
  • Water well until plants are established.
  • For a continuous display, make sowings at two to three weekly intervals.
  • Sowings made in curves rather than straight lines often create a more pleasing effect.
  • Late summer and autumn sowings will flower the following year.
