RHS Cottage Garden

This carefully blended mixture of traditional cottage garden favourites has been created to produce a beautiful display of colour throughout the summer months.

It contains flowers that not only look great, but many are also good for cutting – or providing a food source for birds and beneficial insects.

One box containing 20g of seed will cover approximately 10-20 square metres.

How to sow and grow

• Shake box well, then carefully tear open the tab at the side.
• Sow outdoors where they are to flower.
• Shake out the seed mix gently and evenly, directly onto finely prepared soil.
• Lightly rake over the seedbed to cover the seeds.
• Water well with a fine spray.
• Thin out if plants become overcrowded.
• Water well until plants are established.
• For a continuous display make several sowings at two to three week intervals.

• Flowers: June-October
