Horticultural Grit is perfect for mixing with your compost to help with drainage around plant roots.
Add one handful of grit per litre of compost and mix well before using. Alternatively, dig down and add a 10cm layer of grit under roots before planting.
Grit can also be used as a decorative top over soil in pots and containers.
