How to Sow and Grow

• Indoors Sowing Guide: Sow indoors thinly on the surface of a small tray of pre-watered compost.
• Place in a cold frame.
• Unheated greenhouse or on a cool windowsill.
• Keep moist and do not let the surface of the compost dry out.
• A temperature of 10-15C is ideal. Higher temperatures may inhibit germination.
• Seedlings usually appear in 21-42 days.
• Pot on individually when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. (Always hold seedlings by a leaf, never the stem.)
• Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions before planting out, spacing 20cm apart.
• Soil Type: Well-drained soil
• Sun Level: Partial shade
• Hints & Tips: Retain one or two plants in their pots, once in bud bring into the house to flower.
