The oval leaves are greeny-bronze when young, later dark green, then red-gold in autumn.
Dense clusters of fragrant semi-double light pink flowers in late April.
Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best autumn colour.
Will tolerate most soil types including chalk, and clay.
