Pear (Pyrus) Doyenne du Comice

Doyenne du Comice is a superb quality pear.

Medium-large, pale green fruits changing to yellow, some fruits have a red flush.

Pale yellow flesh has rich juicy flavours.

Best when trained against a wall or fence as it needs a warm sheltered site.

Grown commercially throughout the world, but on a small scale in the UK.
