A beautiful dainty and graceful tree with horizontally-tired branches covered with carmine buds opening to white tinted soft pink flowers.
The flowers are followed by long lasting purple fruit in autumn.
The leaves are green in the summer with yellow/orange autumn tints before they fall.
Crab Apples are self-fertile, and very useful as pollinators for a variety of fruit trees.
Full sun or part shade lover, best grown in fertile, moist, deep, loamy soils.
